Life has been very busy lately. It's the end of the semester and procrastination has been my worst enemy. I guess I was somewhat unmotivated, a little discouraged with things separate from school, and distracted. I think I've got a bit of senioritis too. Pretty much all I want to be doing is brainstorming ideas and taking pictures. Other things, such as class assignments, are just getting in my way!
Anyway, I still have quite a bit to do by Tuesday. I know I'll get it all done, just going to be spending pretty much my entire Sunday in the wet and digital lab. Then I just have to write my last print story, write comments on the student presentations I saw Thursday, and print the rest of my photos for my two photography classes. I will have to re-write my broadcast script and print story, but that is due on the 17th and will only take me about an hour to do. I can't do that until my first drafts or looked at and those are due on Tuesday. So...
...that's where I'm at schoolwise. In other news: I got the photography internship at ThirdCoast Digest. I start in January. I'm so ecstatic about this. Hopefully I'l be starting early January since I'll be on winter break. I might get a little bored just working at my job. I've got a lot of ideas planned up for break, as in fun things to do. Trips to Chicago, books to read, working more on my senior thesis photographs, urban exploring Milwaukee to photograph... and more. So I look forward to this break. I look forward to sleeping a lot. Sometimes I wish I could just skip over the break and start next semester because I'm so eager to graduate. But I'll enjoy this break, since it is probably my last one ever.
I've got some ideas brewing for a new series of photos. More later though.
