I haven't really been thinking about how it's going to be a new year and I'm not big on making resolutions but I've been seeing people's lists and how they look forward to leaving 2010 behind.
It's been a pretty tough year for me, personally, especially the last few months of the year. But 2011 is the year I graduate college, the year I'm finally done with school and can move on to bigger and better things. So, I suppose if I had to name resolutions:

- To not give a damn about the things that have brought me down in the past.
- To put a tremendous amount of work into applying for jobs and being as independent as possible. I want to be seen as a driven, self-motivated person.
For my last semester of college I wouldn't mind getting a 4.0. And I'll be continuing my 365 days in photos. It will be interesting to see where I'm at... by the end of the semester, end of the summer, end of 2011. It's really REALLY exciting to think about. I hope I'll have the ability/money to maybe travel somewhere. I've never been on a plane. I hope I meet some new people.
I'll be spending my New Year's Eve at The Rave in Milwaukee. Girl Talk and lots of other DJs are performing. And I'll be with a good group of people. It should be fun.

Life has been very busy lately. It's the end of the semester and procrastination has been my worst enemy. I guess I was somewhat unmotivated, a little discouraged with things separate from school, and distracted. I think I've got a bit of senioritis too. Pretty much all I want to be doing is brainstorming ideas and taking pictures. Other things, such as class assignments, are just getting in my way!
Anyway, I still have quite a bit to do by Tuesday. I know I'll get it all done, just going to be spending pretty much my entire Sunday in the wet and digital lab. Then I just have to write my last print story, write comments on the student presentations I saw Thursday, and print the rest of my photos for my two photography classes. I will have to re-write my broadcast script and print story, but that is due on the 17th and will only take me about an hour to do. I can't do that until my first drafts or looked at and those are due on Tuesday. So...
...that's where I'm at schoolwise. In other news: I got the photography internship at ThirdCoast Digest. I start in January. I'm so ecstatic about this. Hopefully I'l be starting early January since I'll be on winter break. I might get a little bored just working at my job. I've got a lot of ideas planned up for break, as in fun things to do. Trips to Chicago, books to read, working more on my senior thesis photographs, urban exploring Milwaukee to photograph... and more. So I look forward to this break. I look forward to sleeping a lot. Sometimes I wish I could just skip over the break and start next semester because I'm so eager to graduate. But I'll enjoy this break, since it is probably my last one ever.
I've got some ideas brewing for a new series of photos. More later though.

So this is my last class schedule ever. I'm pretty happy with it since it leaves most of my mornings open to work and, if I get the internship at ThirdCoast, I'll have time available for that. So I haven't heard anything about the internship yet. It is still early and it doesn't start until January so I'll probably hear something in the next few weeks.
There are only 7 days left of the semester. Everything is due on the 14th. I have so much to do; I don't want to think about anything else until it's all finished. I'm definitely ready for winter break, even though all I'll be doing is working. I have to work on Christmas Eve, which is alright. I got Christmas day off through to the 31st. I'm spending all that time in Madison. I'm seeing my favorite band, The Hush Sound, play in Chicago on the 26th. It's their last show ever.
Five and a half more months...
