Right now will be my most calm part of the day.
I can't believe it's already the middle of April. My professor's weren't joking when they said time would fly and it'd be opening night already. When April got here I said, ok - now I need to start finalizing things. I've had a combination of slacking and being extremely busy and time literally flew by and now I'm rushing to get my photos printed and framed by the 26th. I need to get artist statement as solid as possible. I need to start working on my research paper. Then add on top of all that I have to photograph "green spaces" and Gallery Night for my internship! Oh, and other homework too... I'm horrible at time management so...
On the bright side the first show is April 29th - three weeks away. But we technically have to be completed with everything for both shows by the 26th. The second show is May 21st. Classes are over in a month. I graduate May 22nd. Then it's summer and I start a NEW photography internship at Madison Magazine.
I'm really excited for everything even though I definitely could have worked harder for this all to go a bit smoother. I haven't made it yet but I'm still proud.
